WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE PANDEMIC

Before your appointment, we will discuss any questions or concerns over the telephone that may require more than 15 minutes.

In Spa:

Spacing chairs in the treatment room, 6 feet apart, you will see a sign where not to sit in the treatment room. Two large windows and a true HEPA Air Purifier System with multi-stage filtration capable of trapping 99.97% airborne allergens and contaminants down to 0.3 microns help to maintain proper ventilation during your treatment.

Staff will wash hands for at least 20 seconds, and use hand sanitizer when handwashing is not possible. Staff will wear a new mask, face shield, disposable apron or lab coat and nitrile gloves during every appointment.

In advance, staff will prepare small disposable cups containing products to be used during your treatment. At the end of treatment, these cups will be discarded. Likewise, a tray will be prepared with cotton swabs, gauze, brushes, tweezers, or any other items that might be needed during the treatment.

We have discontinued steam treatments out of concern that the steam might pick up viral particles and spread them. Substituting warm, steam towels for this phase of your treatment.

Between clients, the restroom, every surface, doorknob, device, or object touched by the staff or client will be either disinfected or discarded. Linens will be changed and sanitized for every client. To minimize this time, we removed unnecessary items from the treatment room, including equipment or products not in use and general clutter. A clear, clutter-free treatment room offers less risk and easier disinfection.

During Your Treatment

When you arrive at the entrance, your temperature will be taken with a contactless thermometer, your shoes removed (disposable slippers available), a disposable mask will be provided if you are not wearing one, you will be asked to wash or sanitize hands, and your signed COVID-19 Information & Liability Waiver will be confirmed or if necessary, completed online. You will change into a spa wrap & disposable hair bonnet and put your clothing & personal belongings in a disposable plastic bag which will remain in the changing room. We will discuss any minor issues or questions before your treatment while you are still wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. We will ask politely not to talk during any time the technician is touching you. Contactless checkout and payment using card we have on file or by sending Zelle/PayPal payments. We encourage you to call, text or email any time before your scheduled appointment if you have any issues, questions, concerns or need to reschedule.
